Privacy that matches the way Lasagna Book works

Lasagna Book keeps photos and purchased PDFs primarily in your browser or on your device, with account, project and purchase records in the cloud.

Information we collect

We collect account information such as email address, display name, login records, and project metadata needed to run your workspace.

Projects may include book titles, layouts, page data, image names, image dimensions, and checkout records.

Photos and browser storage

Imported photo collections, local recovery drafts, purchased PDFs and photo analysis data are stored in your browser. Collections can be reused across projects. Browser Storage lets you review local data, save backups to your device and remove copies you no longer need.

Photo transfer uses temporary cloud storage when you choose that workflow. Printing sends the required production PDFs to private temporary storage and Lulu. These files contain the photos and other content in your book.

Payments and fulfillment

Payments are handled by Stripe, printing and shipping by Lulu, and purchase receipt emails by Resend. These providers receive the information needed for their part of your purchase.

We keep the purchased book layout, revision, ownership, file fingerprint and purchase/order records in Supabase. Your account keeps your PDF entitlement, not a permanent cloud copy of the PDF. Temporary Lulu production files are eligible for removal seven days after confirmed shipment or delivery; uncertain or unfinished orders retain their files for recovery.

How we use information

We use information to provide accounts, save projects, process purchases, generate exports, support print orders, prevent abuse, and improve the product.

We do not sell your personal project data.

Your choices

You can sign out, delete projects, remove imported images from a project, manage browser copies, and contact support for account questions. Clearing browser data can remove local files; retain device backups of photos and PDFs you need.

Some records may be kept when needed for payment, tax, fraud prevention, support, or legal reasons.
